Iron Ore is a resource in Medieval Engineers. It is mainly used for crafting tools and mechanical parts, but must be refined into iron ingots with a smelting furnace.
Occurrence
Iron ore occures in three different variations which can only be found underground. The indicator for an iron deposit is a yellow/red grass texture.
Poor Yield = 1 Iron and 5 Stone;
Regular Yield = 3 Iron and 3 Stone;
Rich Yield = 6 Iron;
Gathering
Iron ore will drop in your inventory if mined by a stone axe or pick axe.
