Iron Ore is a resource in Medieval Engineers. It is mainly used for crafting tools and mechanical parts, but must be refined into iron ingots with a furnace.

Gathering
Iron ore will drop in your inventory if mined. Iron ore can be mined by any tool although Stone Axe and Pick Axe work best.
Smelting
Iron Ore is smelted using the Furnace. It takes 5 pieces of Iron Ore to create 1 Iron Ingot.
