Quest Steps
Step 1
First you'll need a weapon. Wooden clubs are crude but effective.
- • Obtain 1x Log (0/1)
Step 2
Wooden Clubs are crafted from logs.
- • Craft 1x Wooden Club (0/1)
Step 3
Now you need a target to practice. Gather materials to craft a Training Dummy.
- • Obtain 2x Timber (0/2)
- • Obtain 1x Roll of Thatch (0/1)
Step 4
Training Dummies can be crafting at a Crafting Table.
- • Craft 1x Training Dummy (0/1)
Step 5
Put the Training Dummy in the ground and equip a weapon for training.
- • Place 1x Training Dummy (0/1)
- • Equip Wooden Club
Step 6
You can attack your target from three directions.
- • Attack the Right combat zone
Step 7
Right and left strikes are common. You will usually chain them together to avoid getting blocked.
- • Attack the Left combat zone
Step 8
Downward attacks are slower, but have higher chances of inflicting bleeding or a stunning blow.
Charged attacks have even higher chances of stunning your opponent or inflicting a bleeding wound.
- • Attack the Up combat zone
Step 9
Defense is a very important part of combat. With a weapon, you can only block in one direction.
In combat, you must watch to see where your opponent will strike so you can block in the appropriate direction.
Practice blocking from all three directions.
