If you're going to build strong defenses you're going to want some strong tools to do it with. Gather resources to research smithing.

• Obtain 1x Log (0/1)

• Obtain 5x Timber (0/5)

• Obtain 5x Metal Ingot (0/5)

• Craft 2x Copper Ingots or Iron Ingots

Step 2

Metal tools can be made by smithing. Since that requires an anvil you'll need to craft a Smithy to get started.

• Place 1x Smithy (0/1)

Step 3

Add the resources to a smithy's inventory and craft a metal tool.
