Treasure hunting is a way to search for high-quality items, rare items, and unique items without having to do the work to research and craft them. This activity becomes more important in harsh biomes like [[Sandy Desert]], [[Rocky Desert]], [[Tundra]], and [[Arctic]] where resources are more difficult to find. The loot from treasures can ease gameplay at the cost of the time spend seeking the treasures.
