The frozen arctic biome can be found at both of the planets poles. Umbril is home to a large glacier complete with an ice cave. Darios features frozen land with sparse mountains. The arctic has very little in terms of resources for engineers. There are small groves of Pine Trees and the occasional frozen bush. There are no naturally occuring food plants and no soil on the surface for farming crops.
The steppe is home to the Frozen Chasm, one of the wonders of the world.
