Welcome Engineer! This is the tutorial quest. The text here will update when you complete the steps listed below. If you want more information about the quest or want to abandon it, you can visit the Quest Journal by pressing . Right now you have nothing but your hands and feet. You should make a tool so you can build something and defend yourself. Gather some resources to make a stone axe!

Step 2

Now that you have the resources it's time to assemble the stone axe. Press to open your personal inventory and crafting screen. Crafting controls are on the left and inventory is on the right. Click the ? icon for more information.

Craft 1 Stone Axe (0/1)

Step 3

Find a nice place to start a camp. Starting at a place with metals nearby is recommended. Rumor has it there is ore nearby. Look at the compass on the top center of your screen. Follow the pickaxe marker to the ore.

This looks like a nice spot to set up a camp. You'll need wood to get started. Equip your axe to chop down a tree. Be careful because falling trees are dangerous. Cut the tree into logs using the axe and then pick them up by pressing . This will put them into your inventory.

You can use the logs that you collected to make a crafting table from your inventory. (Press )

Step 6

Now place the crafting table where it is easily accessible. Use + and + while placing the table to change the distance. The table can only be rotated around its vertical axis but this is a good time to learn the rotation controls.
