Discussion about  Linen String

I noticed you've been leaving a lot of broken links. Wiki editing can be rather complicated so I'm glad to help answer any questions you may have. Some advice for you would be:

• Links are case sensitive. If you are unsure if you have a correct link you can type it in the search box or preview the page.
• Another complication from  Linen String is that you were linking to categories. To link to a category, rather than categorize the page, you have to prefix the category name with a semicolon (e.g. ":"). The names themselves require the "Category" namespace and their full title path. In this case "Block_Group/Personal_Flag_and_Banners". That means the full link to it is ":Category:Block_Group/Personal_Flag_and_Banners". Since category names are so long and ugly, I created a template for them called Template:Table-ImageCellName that gives you an extra template slot to add more presentable text to be displayed.

An update on Template:Table-ImageCellName, I'm deleting it in about 5 minutes from now. When you want to rename a wiki link in a template you can simply add {{!}} after the page name and then type the new text. ~CptTwinkie (Talk) 19:09, 4 August 2017 (PDT)
